Where should you park up and unwind?
Our truckers are a hard-working bunch. They travel the length and breadth of the UK come rain or shine.
For long-distance driving, breaks are a must for recharging batteries and taking your mind off the seemingly never-ending stretch of tarmac in front of you.
Gov.uk guidelines state:
“After 5 hours 30 minutes of driving you must take a break of at least 30 minutes for rest and refreshment.
Or, within any period of 8 hours 30 minutes, you must take at least 45 minutes in breaks. You must also have a break of at least 30 minutes at the end of this period, unless it’s the end of the working day.” *
To this point, for us here at DrivenMedia, we wanted to know, which are the best truck stops in the UK?
Without further ado, we have collated five stops that regularly feature amongst the best of the best. It’s worth noting, these establishments have been handpicked by the truckers themselves. So, who better to recommend a pit stop at these places than the drivers?
