What imagery should you use for e-commerce truck advertising?

Everybody knows that buying online and popping into a shop for a browse is not the same at all. There’s members of our team who love a doorbell ring and package drop but they are pretty vocal is the product doesn’t match what they thought they would be getting!

It’s clear when buying a product online consumers can’t:

  • Hold the product
  • Test the product
  • Assess the quality
  • Look for imperfections
  • Try it on for size
  • Judge the colour
  • Review the size

When it comes to helping with this it’s all about the right imagery, the proof, the use, the in-situ, the seeing shoppers can be more confident with their purchasing decision and fall in love with their delivery instead of being disappointed and going to the socials to vent or simply sending it back for a refund. After all right now it’s hard earned cash and lots of big bills.

When you are looking to build trust for your eCommerce product range your marketing images and content should look authentic and showcase the true quality and functionality of your product. It’s really that simple. If you start doing some photoshopping to the extreme or downloading stock photos trust isn’t going to be what you build (probably the reverse.)

We’d recommend you using TRUE images of your product, lifestyle images using people that are real and consumers can identify with. In settings that are true to where the product will be used obviously with a little glitz and glamour added. These images work really well on truck adverts because people connect with people and aspire to the product or activity or lifestyle or setting.
