  • How did it start and how is it going for our advertiser Herald Plastic?

They launched a full wrap in 2020 in London as this was close to their HQ (Barking), within the first 6 months their truck had covered 16,426 miles and 815 hours but more importantly had generated interest and leads for the business.

Today they have 14 full wraps on the road each day and more to come, their campaign has seen a reach figure of 123,770,000 from 391,394 miles and 11,747 hours driven in the 2 years their fleet has been on the road. Today they have a mix of national and regional campaigns in line with their strategic objectives or market entry into new areas.

  • WHO ARE HERALD PLASTIC?

They are manufacturers and importers of high quality eco-friendly disposable products. A family-owned business since 1946, Herald Plastic in its current form was born in 1997 when they moved from Walthamstow to Barking. Today they are headed up by Yogesh Patel as their Managing Director. Herald Plastic are a great provider of wholesale eco-friendly catering disposables with a big focus on disposable tableware supplies, disposable glasses / cups and plastic cutlery for the food industry here in the UK.

“We’ve grown from 1 to 14 trucks on the road, at the end of the day I wanted to get my company in front of people’s eyes. When people are driving close to the HGVs they have time to look at our adverts. It works. People do see multiple trucks adverts on the road, so we have been able to build awareness of what we supply thanks to DrivenMedia.” Says Yogesh.

  • APPEARANCE OF OWN FLEET USING THE FULL WRAP OPTION

Yogesh says “Making sure our company is seen as a serious player in the market and it’s known that we supply the products we do has been possible with truck advertising. It looks like our own trailers are on the road delivering our products every day.”

FLEET MIX UP

London is still calling; there’s now 4 trucks travelling in London as this is their main priority area for lead generation.

This doesn’t detract from wanting to be seen nationally so they have one of the herald plastic trucks travelling nationally and this HGV hits the busy motorways daily. Their focus is on the regions they currently serve or want to increase sales to.

In January 2022 they hit a new region with their advert so a northeast truck campaign was launched and this has already started delivering leads in from companies based in Newcastle, Doncaster, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester.

A result all round!
